Day 20 – Link Building Results

Here is another update on my progress of building links and making website changes for our CharlesCountyRealEstateNetwork.com website. Here are the following results of our Google standings based on the key words we chose for the site:

Can you see how I took my challenge seriously? (Remember, I saw a drop in my rank for Southern Maryland Real Estate, so I made some tweaks to my process and wow! I moved up 53 spots in Google. But of course, I now have a new challenge. As I increased my rank for Southern Maryland Real Estate, my rank for Charles County Waterfront Property dropped equally – to page 13. This is just not acceptable. Looks like I have some work to do!

*Most importantly, my main keywords were Charles County Real Estate, and I moved up to page 2 of Google for that phrase.

Additionally, CharlesCountyRealEstateNetwork.com now holds the #1 position for the term Charles County Realtor. But that is today. (As you can see, these can vary a few positions from day to day!)

This past week, I continued to add more posts and articles to our website, syndicated them to blog networks and web 2.0 sites I set up, and tweaked some things on our website.

This week I plan to work on adding my new challenge keywords (Charles County Waterfront Property) to this process and see what we can accomplish over the next few days. Additionally, I want to continue to make changes to the website to make it more user-friendly!
