Kimberly Bean, President

MidAtlantic Design Corporation is a new media firm owned and operated by Kimberly Bean and backed by a network of web and new media designers, developers, photographers, writers, programmers, and search engine marketing specialists. All have years of demonstrated experience in the industry.

Her passion for design and new media prompted Kimberly to start her company in 1997. Exposed to the ever-developing Internet marketing arena, she has challenged herself in finding creative ways to keep up with current marketing trends and technologies.

Her main focus is Internet marketing strategies like e-mail marketing, search engine optimization, website design and development, mobile website and app development, and Internet consultation. She and her staff work hard to serve their clients. “It is my personal goal to provide quality deliverables. If you’re paying for a service, you should be completely satisfied. That’s why I work closely with my clients, so I can meet their expectations and, hopefully, exceed them.”

Kimberly received a Master Certificate in Web Design and Development from EEI Communications  in Alexandria, Virginia, and is a Certified Web Development Professional. She also holds a Master Certificate in Streaming Media from EEI’s Desktop Video Institute.

In addition to owning and operating MidAtlantic Design Corporation, Kimberly Bean is also Founder & CEO of the Southern Maryland Wedding Guide magazine.

When she launched the Southern Maryland Wedding Guide website in December 2002, Founder and CEO Kimberly Bean had two goals: simplify the wedding planning process for brides and help local wedding service providers grow their businesses. Southern Maryland was often lumped into the “Greater Washington” area by other bridal guides, and there was no central location that listed wedding service providers in Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s and St. Mary’s counties.

Since then, the Southern Maryland Wedding Guide has continued to grow. The site now includes Anne Arundel county and averages 30,000 to 35,000 page views per month; we publish a biannual print and digital magazine and host and promote several bridal shows. We have brand recognition throughout Southern Maryland among brides and wedding service providers.
