14 Day Link Building Results

It’s time for another update! First, here are the results of the same keyword searches that I did in Google from my last post for CharlesCountyRealEstateNetwork.com and its current rankings:

*Look at the jump for the main keywords “Charles County Real Estate“! This is what I have been testing for this campaign to increase my Google listing for CharlesCountyRealEstateNetwork.com. So since starting this link building campaign on 12/27/11, I have jumped from page 7 to page 3 in Google. That’s 4 pages in two weeks!(Currently, the website has a PageRank of 1.)

Here is what I have done the past week. I continue to add new posts to the Charles County Real Estate Network website. Each of those posts have been syndicated to several other websites on my web 2.0 network. Additionally, I have been manually building back links on higher PR websites.

I also discovered and installed a new plugin. Pingback Optimizer. This helps optimize your ping backs (notifications from those websites currently syndicated to notifying me that they have published my content). The Pingback Optimzer, in turn, automatically submits those pingback urls to several RSS directories. (It’s like getting links to my links and thus creating more back links to my website.)

Although I’m getting more traffic, I want more conversions. I am going to work on the physical appearance of the website to encourage visitors to use it to: search for homes, save those listings, sign up to receive e-mails of updated listings that match their criteria, and of course, contact us through the website’s Contact form if they need help buying  Charles County Real Estate or selling a home in Charles County MD.

Finally – I don’t like being defeated. Did you notice that I lost placement in my keyword for Southern Maryland Real Estate? (I haven’t done anything yet to promote this key word other than in my meta tags.) Well, I think I am going to create a page called Southern Maryland Real Estate and start building some links for that. Eventually, I will do this for all my targeted keywords, but this one is personal!
